Using Tumblr With CoSchedule

CoSchedule allows you to connect and post to your Tumblr blogs.

How To Connect To Tumblr

CoSchedule allows you to connect to your Tumblr blog.

Connecting to your Tumblr blog is simple. Simply authenticate your Tumblr account as you would any other social network. Be sure you are logged into the Tumblr account you want to connect. You can connect as many Tumblr accounts as you would like; you will just need to log in one at a time each time you authenticate them with CoSchedule.

Once you have finished adding your Tumblr blog, you will see the Tumblr profile added to your Social Profiles list of accounts.

<Creating And Posting Content to Tumblr

Creating a message for Tumblr is much the same as creating messages for the other social networks.

Using Hashtags With Tumblr

CoSchedule allows you to use both single-word and multi-word hashtags with Tumblr to create a tagged message.

For a single-word hashtag, add the tags you'd like for your post at the end of your message. You can use either of the following formats:

#yourtag

{tag "yourtag"}

For multi-word hashtags, use the following formatting:

{tag "your multi-word tag"}

Once your post is published, it will appear on Tumblr properly tagged. The hashtags won't be visible in your original message, but will appear in the correct area of your post.

Including A Permalink In Copy Of Messages

If you prefer to have the actual URL in the body of the message you send, leave the {permalink} when you create your message. If you do not want the URL visible, remove {permalink}. We will still send along the link to your post, but you will not see it in the text.
