It is important that you have your timezone correctly set up in WordPress so that posts will publish as expected. If you are integrating WordPress into your CoSchedule calendar, setting the timezones to be the same in both will help you easily see when your scheduled posts will go out and help you schedule social messages around that.
Changing Your WordPress Timezone
1. Go to your WordPress Settings area.
Navigate to your WordPress blog dashboard. Click on the Settings, then click General.
2. Select a city nearest you.
On the Settings > General page, find the section labeled Timezone. Select a city in the same timezone as you. A city is preferred if one is available, rather than choosing UTC options, as it will shift with Daylight Savings Time.
3. If a city option doesn't exist for you, manually calculate your timezone.
If you do not find a city that accurately reflects your timezone, you can choose a specific UTC selection. WordPress provides you with the current UTC time. Calculate your time accordingly.
4. Save your changes.
Be sure to click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the Settings > General screen, or your timezone settings will not be saved.
5. Sync your changes in WordPress with CoSchedule.
Be sure to sync the changes you made in WordPress to your CoSchedule account. Go to the Settings > Integrations > Site Name page. Under "Connection Details" click on Refresh Connection.
