Social helpers are reusable tags that will be automatically replaced with your specified content when social messages are sent and allow you to reuse content in multiple messages. With Social Helpers, you won’t have to manually add the same text (or images/videos) to each message you create. Reduce the repetition and auto-fill your entire social campaign instantly.
Each social campaign has default social helpers that will be scraped inside of the social campaign when a URL is added. To access the default social helpers, click and add a URL to your social campaign. For WordPress posts, the URL will automatically be added.
- Title: This will be the title of the added URL.
- Permalink: This will be whatever URL is added to the Permalink field.
- Excerpt: The scraped excerpt of the added URL.
When you create social messages in the social campaign, the {title} and {permalink} social helpers will be added to the social message. Feel free to remove any default social helper that you are not wanting to use.
Along with the default social helpers that are added to your social campaign, you can create custom social helpers where you can insert your own information.
There are three types of custom helpers.
- Custom Text Helper: Used to create alternate headlines for your social campaign and social templates. Also great for easily adding hashtags to multiple social messages.
- Custom Image Helper: Instead of having to manually upload the same image to multiple social messages, add a custom image helper to your social messages so you only have to add the image once.
- Custom Video Helper: Just like custom image helpers, instead of having to manually upload the same video to multiple social messages, add a custom video helper to your social messages so you only have to add the video once.
