Schedule GIFs to Facebook and Twitter inside of CoSchedule

Each social network handles the publishing of GIFs differently. Here you will learn more about how to schedule your GIF for Facebook and Twitter.

Schedule GIFs for Twitter

Scheduling GIFs on your CoSchedule calendar is simple! To schedule your first GIF image, Create a Social Message. Choose an "Image-Type" social message. Click the Camera and upload the GIF.

Note: Twitter only allows GIF files under 3 MB.

Once uploaded, click Add Message. When your GIF is published to Twitter, it will be animated on your timeline.

Schedule GIFs for Facebook Profiles/Pages/Groups

Scheduling GIF messages for Facebook is a little different than scheduling to Twitter. Facebook does not allow the uploading of a GIF image to their network.

To schedule a GIF, create a social message. Choose a "Link-Type" message. Add the direct URL to your GIF into the Permalink box.

Once you're ready to schedule the GIF message, click Add Message. When your GIF is published to Facebook, it will be animated on your timeline.
